Today, Tuesday, June 20, 2023, Minister of Export Promotion and Promotion, Tayeb Zitouni, received at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Italian Minister for Projects and Made in Italy, Mr. Adolfo Urso, and his accompanying delegation, where the two parties discussed ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Minister Zeitouni stressed the importance of the economic partnership that brings the two countries together, calling for strengthening and expanding it in various fields, in a way that benefits both countries and peoples, especially since the volume of exchanges between the two countries exceeds $20 billion.
For his part, Italian Minister Adolfo Urso praised the level of Algerian and Italian relations, stressing that Algeria is a strategic partner for Italy.
He also expressed his thanks for choosing his country as the guest of honor for the 54th edition of the Algiers International Fair.
At the end of the meeting, the two ministers expressed their appreciation for the good bilateral relations between the two countries, and affirmed their commitment to strengthening these relations in the future.
