The President and Director General of Air Algérie, Yassine Ben Slimane, and during his stay as a guest on the “Echorouk Morning” program, today, Sunday, speaking of the company’s saturation in terms of the number of employees, he said, “First of all, Air Algérie will not lay off any employee,” and considered that The solution lies in the creation of new branches for the company in the fields of maintenance and air assistance, expecting in the context that the productivity of employees in the company will increase, with the increase of its air fleet after the acquisition of new aircraft.

In the context, the spokesman revealed that he had received offers from major companies in the aircraft industry, to enter the tender to supply Algeria with 15 new aircraft, according to the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Adding that it is natural for Algeria to receive offers from major companies because the required aircraft are only manufactured by major companies, and the envelopes for the offers submitted in this international tender were opened on November 9, as the deal includes 7 large-sized aircraft and 8 medium-sized aircraft.

Regarding compensation for Corona tickets, Ben Suleiman said that only 140,000 tickets were compensated out of 300,000 tickets that were postponed due to Corona, as the value of compensation amounted to 1.7 billion dinars. While he talked about the electronic sale of 1200 tickets per day.
